Aqueduct Notice is hereby given that due to an unforeseen issue near the Barton the Canal will be closed to all navigation.
From: Wednesday 5th February 2020 at 08.00am
Location of closure: Approximately 100m Northwest of the Barton Swing Aqueduct
The canal will be closed, however please remain vigilant and obey any instructions posted locally.
For further information or updates concerning progress of the unplanned works please visit the Bridgewater Canal website during the period of the closure.
